Ideas That Change Lives

We’re currently running the Ideas That Change Lives Investment Fund, on Behalf of Keeping House .

The fund aims to help older people, people with a learning disability, a physical disability, sensory impairment or a mental health need. We are looking to support ideas which will make a real difference to the above people, and have a good chance of developing as a social enterprise. 

The fund is particularly interested in supporting services which people could choose to buy with a Personal Budget. 

We offer a comprehensive package of business support to help ideas develop into businesses that make a real difference.

Bradford Voluntary and Community Personalisation Project

We ran a 9 month programme on behalf of Bradford MDC, to support organisations to understand the Personalisation agenda in social care.

We ran workshops, seminars, small group sessions and provided one-to-one support to help people consider setting up services that people could buy with a Personal Budget.

How can we do more to make sure that people get the care and support that they need?

We don't pretend that this is easily achieved, but we do believe that the best place to start is by bringing together groups of people who would like to see this happen. We need different people with a range of skills involved. If you're someone who's interested in care and support services then we'd love to hear from you.
